OK, the title of the article I read drew me in - I don't usually go for this type of story, but what the heck, it's the season of strange and weird.
Natashjja Heming of Australia suffered with pain in her pelvis area for many years. Trips to the doctor at different ages provided no explanation, or relief, for her pain. Finally an ultrasound showed that Natashija had a dermoid cycst and that cyst did contain hair, teeth and brain matter.
She had surgery to remove the cyst and is now doing well but she jokes that she ate her twin in the womb. She did note that twins do run in her family.

It is strange isn't it. But the human body is complex.

Actually it happens more often than people realize. Not the actual eating of the twin but the twin being absorbed.

It's not something that I think about so reading it is sorta shocking.

When I had a cyst on one ovary back in the 70's I did some homework and found that there was what you describe and one called a chocolate cyst that has a lot of old blood and such. The one you described creeped me out really bad. Was that what was in my body? Ugh!

It's possible - don't think about it or you will still get the chills.

I agree, that should have been done when she was a child.

Very - but I still have to wonder why they didn't go an ultrasound on her years ago.

It does sound like that story could be true with what they found.
