Baby Shower--Baby Bathtub

I didn't ask, but assume that Liz got the idea for making up this baby bathtub from pinterest. The cottonballs are to represent bubbles. She then put the baby washclothes, travel size bath products, etc around here and there. The bath set and the coconut cream were added by my middle daughter, Heather. It was a cute idea and sat on the picnic table bench below the gifts. We did pull out the small items to use as part of the Left Center Right game. The only thing she didn't get to take home was the doll, which belongs to one of my granddaughters. We put the cotton balls back in to their bags. Heather was able to buy the bathtub at a second hand store for just $3. More baby shower posts to come..................

You know, I never have asked her for sure if it's something she seen on pinterest. I do know they paid $3 for the pink bathtub at a second hand store.

What a cute idea! I wish someone had been creative like that when I had my first baby shower 40 years ago

I barely remember mine...I know I had one with my son who is now 33....or was that a Bridal shower? It's customary that you only get a shower with your first child so I'm pretty sure I didn't have one for the other 3 children.

My oldest works at Dollar Tree so of course the items in the "bubbles" are from there, including the "bubbles". The bath set and the coconut oil are from my middle daughter, but she got those at WalMart.

That is cute and a good use for a gently used tub. They do not use them long.

Nope, they don't stay small enough to fit in them long enough.

Having the baby shower so early when she isn't due until January is making me even more anxious for the birth.

Time? What time? I have loads of things saved to my pinterest, but doubt I get around to trying any of them, even the recipes that sounded so good.

That looks like a fun way to present a present and not have to do any wrapping. I'm sure everyone enjoyed looking at it.

Thanks. One of the ladies from church took pictures at the shower and printed them out for us. One is a really good shot of Jasmine holding up the bath tub.
