How to make me happy :-)

It doesn't take much. Just a few words. And a great attitude. And beautiful harmonies. My work over the weekend as a sound engineer paid off handsomely (to me). And the end of the gig, I was paid an extra $50, invited back for next year AND I got to meet these two lovely ladies...who went that extra step and let me know that I was appreciated. So now, of course, I am raving about The Honey Vines...and hoping they are invited back next year as well. Give this a listen...two girls, one acoustic guitar, one harmonica...and one very happy sound guy.

They knew I was recording, I promised to make them copies. It's not often I get a shout-out, and I have never had one of that caliber before.

Yeah, that's an old standard originally by Woody Guthrie. Heather & Marty did a good version of it.

You're right a little praise goes a long way. That was nice of them to acknowledge you like that. Hopefully you'll all meet up again next year at that event and have more fun.

Good for you! I'm sure the extra $50 was something you deserve to earn. Being invited back next year is a compliment on how well you accomplished your task. Thanks for sharing the video of 'The Honey vines'. Will listen to them in a bit.
