Not Using My Good Judgement Today

Today, I have not been using my good judgement and decided to skip my walk. Of course, then all I could think about was food.
Not only did I think about food too much, but I acted on it. Unfortunately, instead of munching on seedless grapes, I munched on you guess what?
I munched on chocolate and stupid chips. Of course now, the guilty conscience is bugging me and a little too much.
You can blame it on my anxiety for Wednesday morning for my second cataract surgery. I can't wait that the whole thing is over, including putting on the drops for weeks and weeks.
Do you eat when you are too anxious?

I am sure everything will go just fine. It will be nice to have it over with though. I do tend to eat more when I am feeling anxious too.

I eat when I have nothing to do. I do fine as long as I don't shop when I'm hungry. Nothing bad in the house means that if I snack, I snack on decent food.

@Jeanniemaries, You are smarter than I am. I have a tendency to buy "stuff".

@Jeanniemaries I wish I wouldn't go "berserk" when I am anxious.

Yes, I eat when I am anxious. I snack on chocolate a lot of the time. Don't feel guilty, just do better next time.

@marlina .......I have a cataract too and am even slated for any surgery yet and I am feeling some anxiety just thinking about it. I know how you much feel. But, they have been doing this surgery for ages and so I feel better knowing that. Hope you do too.

I'm not an anxious eater. I know a lot of people are, stress can do that to a person. I'm just the opposite. I don't eat anything. I can't. I have no appetite at all when I'm stressed and feel almost sick if I do eat. I end up watching Netflix - bingeing on it to the point where I watch an entire season of something and then feel guilty if I don't get on the computer and work either here or on my book. I need to take my mind off of what stresses me and TV does that. I can't write, because what would come out would be worthless, and I can't blog because I don't have the words to comment with. So I binge Netflix.

Yes, I do and I think a good portion of the population have their 'emotional eating moments' as I like to call it.
Hope the surgery turns out well for you.

I get cranky when I'm anxious, sometimes I eat, sometimes I do not.
But, its justifiable in your situation, you probably just got used to your "new" eyesight and now you will go thru another change, and more adjustments.
I actually bought some chips (that we rarely keep in the house) and some dip to enjoy this weekend, but here it is almost supper time on Monday, and we haven't eaten either.

Even i eat more when i am anxious,may be it is the tendency in some people.When i was having exams i use to eat more and gain weight.After the exams my anxiety and tension use to reduce and my weight use to come down to regular one.
