The rain woke me up

I woke up to the sound of rain pounding on the roof. I have never heard it rain so hard. It sure is coming down. We need it though. It has been along time since we had any amount of rain. Sadly though this will be an end to most of the pretty colored leaves. There will be a lot of bare trees by the time the rain is done. It is pretty muggy now but the temperature is suppose to take a dive tonight and the weather is going to be much colder then it has been. I think I am just going to stay inside where it is dry until all this rain passes. Hope you are all enjoying your day so far.

I miss playing in the rain. That was what I was always doing when I was still a kid. Everytime it rains, I would ask my parents to allow me run in the rain. I loved it very much.

@Happy2BeMe ButI have a weakness. I easily get cold.

We don't get rain that often but usually when we do it comes down hard like that. The good thing is it doesn't usually last very long maybe 5 mins if we're lucky. I don't think I could stand listening to that for longer, I live in a mobile home and boy is it annoyin when it's windy or we get that hard rain.

@Happy2BeMe I like rain when it is light while the sun is up and there is no thunder/lightning when going for a short walk. You get a nice sprinkling.

A few times the rain has woken me because it's been so loud, it's almost a little scary. If it goes on all night it can get quite annoying being woken by it!

It was nice and cool here today which was SO nice! I loved it and the kids loved it, they could finally play outside comfortably. =)

Yes I like the sound of rain especially if you are in a place with a tin roof.
