Feeling Better Today

I am so glad that I am feeling better today. What a wonderful feeling! Unfortunately, I was quite "out of the loop" yesterday. I do not like days like that at all. And I am sure that nobody else does either. When I woke up this morning I knew right away that it was going to be a better day for me. Our oldest son is coming to see us for a little while in a couple of hours. That will be comforting. Also waiting for the pharmacy to deliver some prescriptions. The guy usually comes around eleven. The furnace is on as it is on the cooler side. Is your furnace on today?

I am glad you feel better. It's warm outside today, but it rains again and it's so humid. The furnace is on.

@LadyDuck You must be missing the sun a lot. How is it in the winter time? Lots of sun?

Yes our heat has been on for a week now. My husband gets cold really easy. I do not even put on a coat when it is cold outside.

Heat is on but just to take chill out then it gets shut off, later the a/c will probably be back on. Glad you feel better today.

Having your son visit and feeling better go hand in hand. We turned the furnace on two days ago, but also enjoy our new gas fireplace. Enjoy your day!

We have a wood fireplace but my son has a gas one. Enjoy the warmth of it.

@DianneN Is the gas cheaper than buying wood?

@marlina Doing so right now. We converted our wood burning fireplace to gas last spring.

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. It's getting colder here. The summer weather is definitely over for the year.

Our son lives in the same city than us, so no, he doesn't stay over. Walking? Gardening? Do not know yet, maybe.

I haven't been here for a few days but I'm happy to hear you're feeling better. Although it's a bit chilly I don't need the furnace on quite yet.

Hope you have a great visit with your son and glad you are better- I also think I have those zigzags you get- as I had them again the other day and a few times before---thought it was just blurring from my eyelid as I get a little blepharitis some times.

This morning I had the zigzags twice. Very annoying. They are called "aura migraine". Mine last always 20 minutes. No pain involved just the unaccepting vision.

@marlina Well I didn't really know what it was and thought it was just blurring and it's only really happened about 3 times this year- thanks that is what it is as I have refracted zigzag eyesight for a bit and then it goes away!

So good to hear that you are feeling better. Great! Yes, our heater is on. I did turn it down a couple days ago and today the cooking going on downstairs warmed it up nicely up here. Will probably open the window again like I did yesterday.

Glad you are feeling better. Im also getting over a very persistent cold. Nothing like that one day where you wake up and feel a lot better. I also have my furnace on - cranked up to a toasty 74. Lol!
