Cream Biscuits

On Wednesday nights during the school year we have a meal for the teens and their workers. I have volunteered for twice this fall.
This will be my turn this week. I plan to make sausage gravy and biscuits. I will include tater tots, some raw veggies to dip, and maybe some dessert. I am going to make "cream biscuits" as it is the easiest one I know.
To make cream biscuits you use self rising flour, a little sugar, and heavy whipping cream. I made a practice batch tonight. Delicious. Mix it all together, roll it and cut it. Bake the biscuits and serve them up.
I am so glad to be able to bake.

I love breads of all kinds but have to be careful not to eat too much. These are good, and I know you would love them.

@GardenGerty That sounds like fun! I've always wanted to go back to Guthrie. My mom and I always talked about it.
It looks like our Thanksgiving will be in Owasso. With the new baby still with a trachea tube they can't really travel.

I've not heard of using the cream... I bet that makes them nice and rich... might have to give that a try.... thanks for the idea ....

Some countries call American cookies biscuits. Those are a sweet treat.
