I just cooked her something to eat. We are catching up on all that she has been up to with French Immersion and her music program. She has learned a lot of French in two months. I am so proud of her. It is always so nice when she comes to spend the night. I enjoy her visits. She's Grsmmie's girl. I will be back around later after she goes to bed. For now we are just going to hang out and have some fun. The picture is Destinee after her music concert in June.

Your granddaughter is very pretty. I am glad you are enjoying her company. I just have small doubt in English which I want DE to clarify. @DaddyEvil, @TheHorse. Ok...here Happy2beme wrote "I just cooked her..." in our parts of the world, or rather if I had to say it, I would have said "I just cooked something for her to eat"...cooked her vs. cooked something for her...get what I mean? I am always confused about this. Nowadays, I hear too many people talking like this. :(

@Happy2BeMe .. oh no...I hear everybody talking a different language now. When we were young, if we were asked How are you, I would say I am fine thank you. Now when I ask anybody how are you, they say I am good. My mind says...excuse me, I need to say whether you are good or bad...I am asking how are you meaning are you ok? Ah but ...I am also learning what contemporary English is all about.

@vandana7 @Happy2BeMe Honestly, I might say it either way... I would never consider writing it like that, though. That is something you would need to remember if we were ever to meet face to face, vanny, or if we ever do speak to each other over the phone. I normally write correct English. I speak with a slight cornbelt rasp and a slight southern drawl. (Most of the accents I have trained out of my speech, but the bad phrasing still manifests when I am talking but not when I am writing.)
