Thank a Veteran, no matter which side of the election you were on

This will be a rare political posting from me. Today I wish our US. Servicemen and women all the best and my thanks for supporting this country. There are many real life heros that people will never know about. If you are in the US. they may well be in the Veteran's Hospitals across the nation. I used to volunteer at a VA medical center and got to meet several of these heros. In the light of the recent election it seems fitting to say - no matter which side you were on - Hillary or Donald - it is time to be a good winner , or looser whatever the case may be. If Trump was your choice please be gracious to liberals around you. They are entitled to their opinion as much as you are entitled to yours. You won, there is no need to rub it in or act childishly. To the people protesting, please find a way to do so peacefully - a way in which the rights and safety of yourselves and others aren't jeopordized. If you stage riots or act against the interest of public safety it does nothing for your message except hurt it. Both sides remember to thank a veteran

Indeed. It's not all about leaders. Ordinary men and women make a difference to our lives and shape our future in their selfless acts of courage. We need to remember them and respect them.
