Prayers Are Needed

This afternoon there was a active search for a fugitive after some things that transpired yesterday(Thursday). There had been a carjacking of a senior citizen. He shot a man and a woman Tuesday over in Nampa. So the search was being done of a house on Irving St. which is up on the bench in western Boise. Two policemen were shot and a kenine was shot several times. The two policemen are at the hospital now, one in surgery and one in the ER. Wounds do not seem life threatening. The kenine is at an emergency vet clinic in Garden City. They are not sure if the dog will make it. These dogs are like family. They live with the handler when not on duty. They are taught to protect their handlers, search for drugs,etc. and so this is doubly sad. I sure hope the dog makes it. Of course I hope the police are okay too. The man was DOA at the hospital. Please. Your prayers would be much appreciated at this time.
