Following up on one of my discussions initiated July 2016. MyLot versus LiteracyBase.
I like both sites. But this site is better. Why? Because the cash out is $5 and it seems really easy to reach it! At the other site the pay out is $10 and it does not seem so easy.
Nevertheless, I still like both sites, because members are very nice and making extra income is easy.
I would recommend both sites to anyone looking for a means to generate supplemental income.
UPDATE SEP 2017
Have no clue what is going on at Literacy Base.

Just joined a new community called Literacy Base. Now I'm in a dilemma. The earnings potential there is good like the income potential here. The...

@cmoneyspinner Yes,their changing minimum payout has had the desired effect, even if it would take me a lot of time to reach it.It is the winter time here and sleet will be expected over next few days with the temperature dropping 5 to 10 C.

That was a smart decision to reduce the pay out and I'll tell you why. When it was $10, seemed like it took forever! But when it was reduced to $5 seemed like it became incredibly easy to achieve! Here is my theory. I think, psychologically, once the pay out was reduced, members were more than happy to more active here because it seemed like a reasonable goal to attain. The more activity at the site, the more money the site can earn, the more the owners can share revenue with the members as agreed. It's just a theory. But it's my theory and I'm sticking to it!
How are you today? Is it cold where you are? For the past couple of days we have been enjoying nice cool weather here in Austin, Texas. Amazing! Lovin' it!!

@changjiangzhibin89 - My friend in America is originally from China. When she visited her parents back home she said she stayed bundled up in layers of clothing all the time. She said they had to be very limited in their use of heating because it was too expensive. They only warmed up the house at night when it was time for bed. At that time we were both living in Miami, Florida. All I could think of was her being so miserable from the cold, having already gotten used to the nice warm weather in South Florida. I was glad she went to see her parents. But I was glad when she came back. We were really good friends. Unfortunately we lost touch with each other when I moved to Texas. Anyway … stay warm!!

Well most of the people I interact with there are people I met at other sites. Also … and this is the “make or break” for me … if I have a problem and contact Support or Admin and get ignored, that site is probably not worth my time. Have a had a few issues arise at LB and the site owner(s) handled them promptly. So LB gets two thumbs up in my book.
One thumb for nice members.
The other thumb for great Support!

I have been so grateful for friends I have connected with in online sites. MyLot is always my first love because it was my site I cut my online writing teeth on and the people are great. I have been on some others that have come and gone, and I still may participate in even more. I also work on Textbroker, but that truly is work.

I have heard about Textbroker and one of these days when I'm brave enough I just might jump in!

I don't make cash out every month. But I do cash out frequently enough to make me stay here.

The best thing about LiteracyBase is you don't have to blog to earn some pocket change. Just like here at myLot. You can just comment at posts or in forums or groups and earn for your activity. When I do decide to do a blog post, every now and then, I usually get 15 cents or more, instantly when it's published; and then I earn from people visiting and leaving comments.
For the sake of comparison, you earn a lot quicker at myLot than at LB. But I don't like to keep all my apples in one basket. So I try to be active at similar sites. I tried BlogBourne, but the lady who invited me has some personal problems and she was the one reviewing and approving the posts. BB feel off my radar after that and I haven't really re-visited the site, even though people say they are paying now.
I would like to find more sites like LiteracyBase and MyLot. Some of the other sites people are recommending have earning potential but they are still not as good as these two sites.

@Ronrybs - That site is still there. From what I heard they are now paying. I wrote one post and left. I left because I thought it best to wait and see if they would pay. But then the person who invited me to join had some personal problems and was not active at the site any more. After that I lost interest. But I see people still there writing, writing, writing! Guess the site is working for them. I've decided it's not for me. Wish them success!

@cmoneyspinner There's another one I've never heard of BlogBourne. Wonder if they still up and running?
