Be Careful Out There Folks!

Hey! Just a friendly heads up. I know you are all intelligent people. But, we all get in a hurry and think we are okay this one time or whatever. Please be careful out there! Becareful when: * You cross the streets. Could be slippery or an idiot might be going too fast. * you leave your car in a garage. People could be lurking. And when you come back to your car too. * Don't jog or walk alone. * Don't answer the door unless you know who it is. * Be aware of strangers around you. They can clip your purse or keys quick. And they might have that apparatus on them that will take your credit card #. * you say things to others, that you don't hurt their feelings. * you are in a hurry. More reason for mistakes and injuries. * you drive in snowy weather. Be sure you de-iced the windows sufficiently and be defensive when driving. * you take your meds. Don't forget like I do some days. * you have to stop at an ATM. Don't trust strangers behind you. Put money away before leaving it. * you are walking in a parking lot. Be aware of your surroundings. People drive too fast. And, some aren't to be trusted. Sad but true. * texting or making a phone call. Don't do this in your car while driving! * when you know you are expecting a package. Some will steal them right off your steps. * discarding credit card ads or other things with a card in it or personal info. I scratch out my name and tear it up so no one can take it out of the trash and start an account in my name. * preparing chicken or other meat in the kitchen. Clean surfaces so you did get those nasty germs. * doing odd jobs around the house. That you are using the right tools and not taking risks. This time of year we get in a hurry, there are crowds of people, and we don't always pay attention. Have happy and healthy holidays.
