Hope there is someone who knows what I'm talking about. I use Yahoo! AU as ,my homepage and I have 2 email accounts. I depend on emails to do business and keep in touch. For the past several days, I have not been able to open yahoo, let alone access my email. I've tried all i can think of but no joy. I just cannot access any part of the site and i cannot ascertain what is wrong. Is anyone else experiencing this? can someone help me please?

I had a quick glance at the availability checker site below, nothing appears to be amiss from its point of view - it has some hints to try if your attempts to access the site keep hitting a brick wall, if that helps:
Having problems with Yahoo.com.au website today? Check whether Yahoo Australia server is up or down right now for everyone or just for you.

This looks promising @pgntwo . I tried "Is it down for everyone or just me?" and nothing happened. I always get a response from this site. It's just gone 4am here so I will check up on the suggestions later. I've already cleared my cache and cookies and have tried 3 different browsers. I wonder if yahoo has a Facebook page??? Thank you.

I checked too and everything is working, I suspect a problem with the browser or the computer.

What's the error message (if there is)? Have you tried using a different browser? Can you open other websites?

I think the problem must be up your end. Have you tried praying to God?

I have no Yahoo mail, but this is what they suggest to do. Check if this works

@MsTickle I think that you have a problem with your computer or your browser, I also tried the link provided by @JolietJake and I can access it.

Unfortunately I cannot be of any help. I hope the site is just down for repairs and will be fixed soon. I can look up the 800 number to tell you if you want to call and report the issue. I quit using yahoo years ago as my emails always bounced. I use gmail now and I love it.

Better you use "forgot password' which will be given on the bottom. It will enable you to change your password. You can do it. Not accessing the site itself means there must be some other problem with the service providers. In that case you can contact them as to the problem

it was Yahoo itself. They advised me (eventually) that my account was one of those affected when they were hacked. Luckily, I changed my password at about the same time so I'm hoping that all is well. i can now access the site and my mail but things are not quite right yet.
