Going through withdrawal is very painful

If you smoked for many years and finally quit you most likely went through withdrawal. I know I did, but thankfully I was determined to make quitting work that I fought through it. Unfortunately, now I am going through another withdrawal... It has been a little more than a week since I bought anything online. I am starting to get the shakes...my fingers automatically try to type A M A Z O N and I have to fight the urge. I hurt all over and I can't stop the pain. Oh wait, I just saw an add for, oh heck who cares what it's for - I am going to jump off the wagon and head over to Amazon and shop till I drop or until I am back to normal, whichever comes first! Yes, I guess it can be. I quit my shopping on December 6th and wish I had more gift cards to use. I want some goodies myself. Did you get back to normal? Haha

@AbbyGreenhill .....I have found a thing where I go browse and find some interesting items. Then they show up next to my notifications all the rest of the day. It is so very nice. I can decide if I really want something that way.

Define normal? I didn't buy anything. I was looking at tops for myself and didn't really see anything that jumped out at me.

@AbbyGreenhill I am the same way. Shopping is a chore for me that I am not interested in doing. I get what I need and get the heck out quick!

I've taken myself away from online shopping. I did my Christmas shopping and now my job is to save money. Much as I keep finding things I'd love to buy, I know how much better I'll feel watching my bank account come back up instead. lol

This is the only time of year that the UPS driver lives in our driveway! I am not a shopper by any means, I'm a buyer. I didn't inherit the shopping gene.

I quit smoking after 20years and had zero withdrawals. But I didn't go cold turkey. But the internet? Whoa, sooo attached! But I rarely buy anything online, just surf, comment, and play online games.

Online shopping has never held me in its thrall. Sometimes the fabric sits will tempt me. But usually I back out before I submit my order.

I have no choice - we don't have a mall or any store other than Walmart.
