Well, we finally did get some snow a few days ago but it was only flurries and none of it stuck. Instead, we got rain which turned to ice and we still have it on our patio. Our temps haven't reached above freezing yet and I am already over it all.
I have been so cold. It's the kind of cold you get where you just can't get warm. I call it cold to the bone. When my brother comes home from work, he has been building a fire which helps tremendously and I am finally warm before going to bed.
It's supposed to reach a high in the 30's today which is so much better than 18 and 25 degrees. I am really missing Vegas right about now. We had some cold weather during winter but nothing like this and I am missing those mild winters.
What has the weather been like where you live? Our news was saying that pretty much all states, except Florida, was hit by this last cold front that came through. I hope everyone is staying safe and warm.

We have had a fair bit of snow but it melts fast. I know that eventually we will have snow up to our armpits but i don't look forward to that. Can't get away with no snow in Canada.

They lied. Florida was hit too. I actually had to wear a robe this morning.

Yes, we have had some arctic weather. For Christmas, I bought my daughter these slippers that you place in the microwave and they keep warm for quite some time, they might help you adjust to the cold. They were $12.99 at TJ MAxx

You can have the snow--and the cold!! We were 'only' in the 80s today!

bless yer heart, hon. can ya not build ya a fire? i could, if'n i'd any wood, lol. (not funny, but i'm doin' my best to remain positive...). we'd our snow 'n bitter cold temps this past weekend. rebound today, nearly 60 degrees. 'r course, there's an ice storm comin' this eve 'n the sun's yet to show's lovely golden rays all day. jest many shades 'f blue skies (from pale, to greenish to the most intense) 'long with winds gustin' to 48mph. no frettin' though, 'tis 'pposed to be'n the 50's fer the weekend.
the weather here's been a series 'f ups/downs 'n massive plummets. i so long fer late spring! but'm thankful to've made't to the first official day'f winter. now the days'll start gettin' longer :)

I live in north Florida, and we got touched slightly by this recent round of cold weather. It's cool here, but not horribly cold. But friends and family in south Florida are still complaining about how hot is down there.

We are finally climbing up the thermometer here. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, at least last time I looked, which was yesterday.

EEEEkkkkk, I would hate getting that kind of cold. Have you talked to your bro to see if maybe he'll move back to Vegas? Or AZ perhaps?
We got down to 29 this mornin but otherwise we're in the 50s and 60s.

It can be miserable indeed if you can't get warm. Can you not start the fire before your brother goes to work so you don't need to be cold all day?

It's colder in Southern California but it reaches 60s and 70s during the day.
