How many times did I say Christmas in the title? 
Christmas 2016, I started Christmas shopping fairly late, I believe in October. I normally buy gifts throughout the year and save it up.
On Christmas Eve, I made my first purchase for Christmas 2017 online. The only reason is because I had a $10 off $10 coupon for JcPenney that I didn't use and it was expiring Christmas Eve, I didn't want it to go to a waste. I purchased my niece a 3 piece Carter's Holiday Pajama Set. It says Merry & Bright - long sleeve pajama shirt, pants and tutu. I ended up having to pay $4 bucks which isn't too bad for the shipping.

When my kids were little, I used to joke that we should wait to celebrate Christmas until after New Years, so that we can get all the presents at 75% off! Since the kids were little, they would have had no clue when Christmas really was! Haha

I agree the $10.00 coupons mean low cost to free stuff. I'm able to get some great deals at Penny's. I put freebies and low cost items in the closet year round. This way I have saved money on every purchase and can stretch my money.

Hehe yes that's true! My niece is only a baby, so it'll work out. :) She is 3.5 months now so I am shopping for 18 months clothes. Clothes trend doesn't change too much.

I always say I'm going to shop throughout the year so I don't have the hassle of buying gifts at last minute but I never seem to do it. That's a pretty good savings on the 3 piece set for your niece and your coupon didn't go to waste

If I had a coupon I would have used it to buy someone something for next year's Christmas as well. I haven't started shopping for next year yet but I am about to start making my list on Amazon of things I want to buy people for next year. Then to save up the money for it.
