What We Did

The car would not start this morning.
Hubby took the day off, as it was his birthday. I walked about three blocks to ride the bus to the school with the kids.
Hubby got the car started in the late afternoon. He picked me up after work. We needed to run some errands, pick up a reserved library book, and get some ham to go in our beans.
Since it was his birthday we ate out at Applebees. They have a great special where you order two entrees off a special menu and you get both for $20, including an appetizer as well. He also got free chocolate sundae for his birthday.
When we got home, I did a hot soak in epsom salts and essential oils. Hubby only wanted to soak his feet, so he did.
We should sleep well tonight, we worked hard, ate well, and then did good and comfy things. I hope you sleep well too, or have an excellent day.

Sounds like a good day out, sorry the car would not start.

Both of us are amazed at how old we are, cause we do not feel it. The dish I got was excellent and just the right sized portion.

Apple Bees is always a Great place to eat and the $20 special is nice. You made me hungry also when you mentioned needing to get Ham with your beans.

I like the current menu at Applebees, but that has not always been the case. I love ham and beans and cornbread.

In that case wish him Happy Birthday and from what I see he did have a nice Birthday too and he must have slept very well.

Hope he had a good birthday. My hubby has today off and will probably nap and lounge around the house all day. That's what he usually does on his days off.
