~It Was Needed~

Today was our first day of peace in our home and it was a lovely day! =) No walking on egg shells, no avoiding the kitchen, no nasty looks when you enter the room, no rude comments, aahh PEACE! 
Since the kids and I have had too much stress the last couple of months I decided today would be a day for celebrating our new peace. The kids and I walked a few blocks away to the thrift store.
For the first time in a couple years I bought myself something! It felt weird but I really needed some clothes that fit my pregnant self. Lol. So, I bought 3 shirts and 3 pairs of comfy pants for $20. I bought the kids each a new outfit as well for being good today. =)
Next door to the thrift store is Subway, I got the kids each a cookie and they shared a drink.
It was a great day with warm weather! I hope you all had a great day too!

Nice way to celebrate. Glad you got yourself some clothes you deserve something for yourself. What kind of cookies did your kids get at subway? I like the peanut butter ones. Tbey use to have a m&m one but not no more.

@LovingMyBabies We have to spoil ourselves every once in a while even if we have kids. Yum chocolate chip I love chocolate chip cookies.

I had a very quiet day, I did laundry and vacuumed and made a shepherds pie for dinner. Actually did some work on my blogs too.

Only a little over a week into 2017 and it sounds like this is going to be a fantastic year at your place! I'm glad that you were able to get some clothes to wear for your last part of this pregnancy and it was nice that you all went for a walk together and the kids all got a treat too.
