Yesterday was my worst day here this year

Not that I am worried about it, really. I mean, after all, this has been my best month here so far this year. It either must have been a bad day for advertising or I just sat staring at the screen too much, I don't know. But that's okay, I still have several days left to reach $100.0000 this month. (That's not my goal or anything, just felt like throwing that in there ) *sips coughee* *inhales 237 cancer-causing ingredients* *lets Scar in for a drink* *lets Scar back out* *sips more coughee* So I guess tomorrow begins the Trumpocalypse...I admit to a bit of apprehension about it...someone that refers to his Florida estate as the 'Winter White House' and a bit of an egomaniac having controls of the reins, so to speak, is cause to be a bit leery. But I don't expect mushroom clouds on the horizon anytime soon, so we'll wait and see what happens. And there's my morning so far...g'mornin' myLot!

Trump the Candidate is very much different from Trump the President. Too bad though because Trump is Trump and there really isn't any upside with him.

So far, I am afraid, he has come up with policies I would have come up for the US...though I am not sure repealing Obamacare is a good idea. I am for jobs that a country creates should be for its citizens not for outsiders. Of course, exports will take a beating since others would be pricing their goods competitively. But not at the cost of my country being trampled away in a way that it never gets up. Outsourcing from my analysis was a big mistake and so were those visas. I read somewhere that the UK expects people wanting to migrate to it have a specified amount of wealth. The US needs to specify that and have more stringent rules for availing all the benefits your country offers.

@JolietJake Oh they will return...if he wants a second term, such issues would be raised at your debates, or he may even have higher taxes for such industries making going out not lucrative enough.

The problem here is Trump has clothing factories and every single one is NOT in the USA. If he is so big on American jobs, why doesn't he do what he says others should do?

@vandana7 His factories have never been here and he ignores all questions about them.

It seems that a lot of people are not really in favor of Donald Trump as the president , yet it is him who won.

A lot of people voted for him because according to them 'he is not a politician' so they assumed he would be a better choice. The problem is, he was making many promises just to get votes...a move many politicians make. And I am afraid they will soon see what a bad choice they made.

@JolietJake And I think as early as now , those who voted for him regretted having voted him .

Good morning. Is Donald having his "big day" today? Based on all of the hype from the media over the past 18 months I am not surprised that he got into office, but when you sit and listen to Americans, I cannot imagine who voted him in. I wonder the Obamas are staying close because he thinks something will happen and he'll have to return to his old job. Time will tell.

He can't return...there is a protocol in place to replace the President if he is removed.

@JolietJake - until the democrats learn from thier mistakes, he'll win another term. they are lucky in that area though, the republicans still havent learned from losing to obama. Trump just came out of nowhere.

I thought it was funny today when I heard a report that the Trump people made a list of all the celebrities who'd publicly stated they weren't coming to the Inauguration and let everyone know that nearly all of them weren't coming because they hadn't been invited in the first place. We are in for some tumultuous times. I suggest turning off the network and cable news, talk radio, and cancelling the paper.

Of course, he gets inaugurated tomorrow. (Is inaugurated a word?) It must be. It hasn't come up underlined.

I am still amazed that out of 150,000,000 potential candidates (yes, there actually were that many) they settled on these two to represent the two major parties.

Today is worse for me though it's not really bad yet. It will be very interesting as the days go past to see what he actually does, or doesn't do, and how the whole world will be affected

My day on Mylot was abysmal. Can't say that Mylot was to blame. I've barely been here the last two days....one day...no power, so no internet. Yesterday I went to visit my father and took him for his monthly outing . Again...no internet while I was out. Today I will be here a little more.

I feel sorry for the people that didn't vote for him, but not the people that did, they asked for this.
