Cracker Barrel - it cracks me up!

I love Cracker Barrel (Restaurant and old country store) and what cracks me up about it isn't the food - but the people. You see all kinds!!! Yesterday the waitress took us to a table that was up against a half wall on one side and up against customers at the next table. Well, the man at the next table must have believed he has 10 feet long legs because he had his chair pushed back so far from the table there was no way I could have sat at the next table comfortably. I asked the waitress to move us and she did give me a strange look but complied. The next couple that she put at that table where much larger folks than us, but they squeezed in anyway. They didn't look comfy at all. It pays to speak up! The customers seemed to be mostly men. There were tables that were full of men...might be a good place for single ladies to hang out!!! I think some of them were constructions people working on another motel being built next door. The world is turning into restaurants and motels! The service was fast, and we appreciate that for sure. I had been craving chicken and dumplings and it was very good. My husband had chicken fried steak. It was a beautiful sunny day and it was nice to get out and take a ride, enjoy a meal and be thankful. Photo is mine
