Member Book Signing

One of the members of my Writer's Guild is having a book signing today. She's written many books in the romance genre. She is also a speaker at writing events.
My friend called me this morning to find out if I was going, and I told her it's on my calendar, so she is picking me up in just over an hour to provide support for her.
I've read the clip on the book and it does sound like a good one. Though, I'm not a romance writer, or reader, I will probably pick up her book. The book is set in the 1800's and has swashbuckling pirates in it. Since pirates seem to be a part of my four book series set in the 1700's, it sounds like something I would like to read.
I'm also going out to supper with my friend afterwards. So a fun day is ahead. What are your plans for today? Thanks for reading

Hope you have fun.
My daughter has a Winterguard show today. It's their home show (we host at our school) so I'll be heading over there in about an hour to volunteer my services to help run it. I will be a hallway monitor so it sounds pretty boring.
Next week is our Drumline home show, that one I'll be running the ticket table which will be far more exciting!

@just4him It wasn't that great as not a lot of guards came. Normally we have like a dozen, this time there was only 7 guards total, including our own.

I was going to take part in 2 LARPS, but the first one never seems to work me in. I am coming in mid story, which is hard. I'm not sure I care tons, I do some, but not tons. I will be part of the one this PM for sure.

@just4him Live action role play. playing characters with set rules, and a storyteller of sorts, but no scripted lines
