Change of Plans

I planned on being here most of the day, as I usually am. However, my older son showed up unexpectedly needing help in the way of a place to stay for a short while, seeing as he knows he can't stay the night with the housing rules I'm under. He also needed a hot lemon - he's got a bad cold and looks like he's been through the ringer. Two of those and he was doing good.
I did get my laundry done. I left him asleep on my living room floor while I did my younger son's laundry and my own. I did find out the laundromat doesn't have wi-fi. I was hoping to connect and get some notifications done while I did laundry, but that didn't happen either.
So today has been completely different. We did watch the series I was watching, which he got into the middle of and really likes. So he's left now, with a jump as his battery died while he was here.
That has been my unusual day. I did get some work done on Manifest Destiny before he got here. Now, I'm going to spend it with you and my game at the same time, as usual. Hopefully I can get a good portion of notifications done before I go to bed tonight.
How was your day? Was it the same ole, same ole, or did you have a bit of excitement too? Thanks for reading.

Hope your son feels better and that he could find a place to be for the night. Ah, yes, life happens and that delays our myLot time. In a sort of way that happened to me today too. We weren't sure if my little son was starting a cold or if his allergies from the school trees were just bad . . . so we kept him home today (he turned out to be fine). I got some myLot time in, but not a whole lot.

no two days are ever alike for me. Today was a little calmer than I expected.

I'm just starting my day so nothing exciting has happened yet but I'm planning to go out to get myself a universal remote control for my Panasonic LCD tv. I haven't used this tv that much because we bought a Toshiba tv. But the Toshiba tv decided to break down yesterday right after my warranty is over. The warranty ended on January 30th. Can you imagine that? So I brought out my Panasonic tv from my children's room and only then I found out the remote control can't be used. Now, I need to get a new remote for my tv while my Toshiba tv is in the shop.

I'm sorry your TV broke down after the warranty expired. I hope you found a remote for the other one.

I'm sorry it was troublesome and glad you could handle it.
