A little while ago I brewed myself a wonderfully fulfilling cup of tea. Why am I mentioning this? Mostly because it has been sometime since I have actually made myself a cup of tea. I am what is known as a dedicated coffee lover. For some reason my love of tea seems to have gone by the wayside. So today when I had an urge to enjoy a cup of tea it took me a little by surprise. And enjoy it I did. I sat, relaxed, and enjoyed a perfect cup of decaffeinated tea, steeped for a few minutes, added some Truvia to it, and a squirt of lemon. I was a like a little oasis of peace and tranquility. I now can't remember why I haven been drinking tea. Has this happened to you? Have you found yourself enjoying something that you seem to have given up for a while?

I haven't tasted a good cup of coffee in quite sometime. I don't know if it is my taste buds or the quality of coffee now days. Even the Latte from Starbucks the other day was disappointing. I do enjoy a nice cup of green tea though.

@HazySue .......Interesting. I remember my mom got a bad hit on the head and her taste buds changed a lot.

It is funny that I did this. I have been a dedicated coffee drinker for the past few years.

I might like different types of tea better but I haven't tried very many. I just like the rich flavor of coffee and there is so much you can do with that.

I've never been a tea drinker. I will occasionally drink some to be polite. Coffee is my choice...which just a splash of cream.

you drink your coffee the same way I do. Tea does taste good once in a while.
