How often do you wash your coughee cup?

I think mine is almost ready for its yearly bath. Seriously, soap and water are its mortal enemies. I just give it a good hot-water rinse between uses, and it's good to go. The coughee maker itself gets pretty much same the treatment...I see no reason to wash the flavor enhancing off of it. Takes a while to build that coating up, no sense wasting it...

@JolietJake I don't eat tomato soup . . . what happens? Does it stick and never come off?

I don't use them for more than a day at a time without washing them. I will sometimes put coffee into a cup that's had tea in it and it doesn't seem to affect the taste. I couldn't do it the other way around.

I will admit to sometimes taking a knife and scraping some of the excess off of the inside.

I give to my cup a hot-water rinse too, but I do not wash it every day, may be every three to four days.

Very hot water is enough for me too with my black coffee but not when I drink one with coffee creamer then it needs scrubbing.

Why would you ruin coughee with creamer?

Never thought of this question but I see this as something that everyone should answer. Lol. I used to do the same. I thought that hot water and a rinse should be enough but I am trying to do more now. I bought a dish washing paste and it is now inside my office drawer should it come handy. I try to clean my mug before I leave the office.

Mine gets washed with soap every day. We don't have a coffee machine but a pour over into a jar. That doesn't get washed. I use the cups for other things but I would probably wash them every day even so.

I was threatened with a court-martial for saying I was going to clean the coffee pot. I was just an innocent E-1 then, what did I know. I don't drink coffee, which is the real reason they threw me out of the Navy. My tea cup, however, gets washed when the color of the inside stain clashes with the outside color too badly.

That's funny. I run the regular cups in our dishwasher after we use them, but never do that with my husband's travel mug. But, the last time that I washed it, by hand, he complained that I didn't rinse it as the coffee tasted weird after I washed it and I actually had to go out and get him a new mug. Talk about picky!

I bring mine home like once a week from work to run through the dishwasher. Otherwise I wash the mug I use at home every time I use it.
