I don't know if this egg is available all over the world or only here in the Philippines. I like it's fuschia pink color. It's a delicious egg because it's salty. It has a wonderful flavor. No need to cook the egg. You will just crack it open and it's ready to enjoy. It's salted duck egg soaked in clay with salt. I think this is Asian food. I love it for breakfast together with tomatoes. Image from google

Photo of colorful eggs by Pat Z Anthony
This is something we have not seen here. We do have eggs that come straight from the chickens in various colors.

I've tasted those but never seen it in fuschia... Just the natural whitish color or sometimes it's very light green color...

I think this is Asian food too! I was trying to imagine what kind of a bird would lay an egg like that. :)

It's only duck. They just color the egg with fuschia pink sometimes with gold glistening

@averygirl72 At our agricultural show sometimes they inject a eggs with dye and when the chickens hatch out they are blue or green or pink. The children are very intrigued with the coloured chickens.

We have salted duck egg without clay here but it is not fuschia pink. It is just the natural egg color. Are these eggs colored?

The picture of the eggs is very pretty. Never heard of this food. But it's eggs, so I'll probably like them. I love the color! In fact, when I was a little girl my late mother was a dressmaker. A lady brought a piece of cloth for my mom to make here a dress. It was the prettiest color I had ever seen. I asked my mom what color it was and she said “It's fuschia.” I never forgot it! Such a wonderful joyous color!

@averygirl72 Our authorities decided that it's not safe and the red color seems to be the most dangerous.
