Are things slow here at myLot or is it me?

Granted I don't move as fast as I used to...but I can still keep up with things. But the last few days it seems like there are only a few myLot members who are posting discussions. 'Few' doesn't mean only a handful - just less than normal.
I am wondering why myLot is so quiet:
* Could it be due to the weather?
* Could it be due to the photo issue?
* Could it be due to boredom?
* Lack of ideas, thoughts, topics?
* A combination of all the above?
What do you think?

yea,it's been a little slow.might just be winter in general.i know it's hard for me to get motivated then.
but i can't make that excuse for people having summer right now..

This morning does seem a bit slow. Not sure why, maybe they met their payout goal and are no longer here. Some are like that. I seem to always be here. I like the slowness right now. It's allowing me to catch up with my notifications.

I like new stuff, some of the older stuff that you miss is probably not relevant any longer i"ve done that read older post and they make no sense things situations changed.

Yes, I noticed that the past three days have been slower. Perhaps just one of those momentary slumps the site experiences.

I think it is a combination of the above things you cited. Also, I guess people were waiting for the myLot logo to go green and show those beautiful dollar signs! Once people get paid, they go on full beast mode and start typing like crazy!

@LadyDuck I go thru most recent a few times a day and so many I have no interest in. There are things I am not interested in and I don't want to read something the try to come up with a comment...its too fake to me.

I try not to post more than once a day. The photo issue seems to be discouraging some Mylotters. The east coast of Canada has been experiencing a major storm...so I'm guessing New England is facing similar conditions. I'm sure some boredom comes into play as well. I've been busy so I pop on and off...no large chunk of time to sit and play on my iPad.

@AbbyGreenhill _I use the "paint" program of windows. Resize the photo until you see the size indicated is 55kb or less. Hope this helps.
