They live!!! And they thirst for your blood!!!
Got my first skeeter bite last night.
Damned musky-toes already and it ain't even March yet,
But I keeled that sumbeech!!!
Nasty blood-sucking (expletive deleted).
There are some 'signs of spring' I would rather do without.

@JolietJake
That's usually the scenario here . . . but this season we actually have cold days with rain, and super rain like the other day. What's going on? Did Mother Nature fall off her rocker?

I need to pick a couple of cans up, I thought I still had a few weeks at least before they started showing up.

@JolietJake I hate those little vampires, but for some reason they seem to love me.

Nothing like that here. I am not looking forward to the mosquitoes in June though.

You and me both @JolietJake . Between the skeeters and the fire ants; I don't know which is worse.

They die! I will not let them live. In the summer...in the woods...Muskol is my friend.

In addition to mozzies, do you have no-see-ums? I got eaten alive by no-see-ums down in Florida.

No, but we have these really small skeeters that tear my legs up when I mow or just even walk around the yard during the summer.

It's definitely early for them here in Illinois, even in the southern part.
