The old grey mare she ain't what she used to be....

In the old days this grey mare (brown mare back then) was healthy as a horse, never picked up flu or cold germs. Oh how the times they have changed!
The flu isn't the issue - it's a lousy cold. The coughing is the killer, the nose blowing comes in a close second as annoying. This started Sunday evening but the coughing didn't start right away, now it's making up for lost time.
I am not the first, nor the last, to suffer so I will push ahead and do my thing and try to take what's left of my mind off of it by annoying my myLot friends!

I am pretty lucky when it comes to colds but my allergies have been miserable, the pollen count down here is so high!! I hope you can shake it off soon, a cold is a nasty animal!!

It is a little better today thanks. Pollen count here is high too, it was 850 a day ago. But this is a cold and I get it once a year usually January/February.

coughing hurts...and hurts and you try not to cough which makes it hurt worse.

Sorry you're feeling so bad. My nose runs likes a tap when I get a cold. I usually start taking cold and flu tablets now just to dry up my nose a bit.

I took Clariten -- doc said it's ok....with blood pressure meds you have to be so careful what you take for colds. At least now it's not pouring out of my nose!

I really do thank God I have not gotten sick this Winter, I think if I did and Tony caught it he could possibly die.
