I know how it works, I do not know if they are authorized in Switzerland, in Italy taxi drivers are protesting right now against UBER. It's a full week that there are riots in the major Italian cities, I would not drive for UBER there, it looks pretty dangerous.

That is more danger than I would want now. I am already doing 25 online sites, so hoping that Friday job interview is a success. I'm not getting enough sleep.

@LadyDuck Yes, I thought it would work, but the electrical problem was more expensive than I originally thought. It wasn't listed as a problem in the inspection. My stress level is to high, so going to get this solved this week.

@Fishmomma I wish you a successful interview. Doing 25 sites it's a lot of stress.

I am waiting to see if my interviews mean a job offer. The one on Friday was very positive and they were interviewing more people, so will decide next week. Thanks for posting.

@Fishmomma I hope it works for you. They changed the rules here now and Uber drivers have to pay tax which meant it isn't economical for some.

@JudyEv Oh my, hope there isn't tax here, as we have one of the highest taxes in the United States. Well, I am going to check out more of the temp jobs and will see about taxes as well.

Lyft is also hiring. I always hear horror stories and I could never drive strangers, so it isn't for me. But, I had an ex-co worker who did both Lyft + Uber and enjoyed it!

I'm considering every job possibility and this one does sound like it could be dangerous. One of my friends drove a taxi for a year, so told the person I was going to look into this company. I didn't know Lyft is hiring, so will look into this one also. Thanks for the help.

@Fishmomma My co worker friend was a female, she drove at night and she had the balls to! But she did anything she could as she had two kids and a single mother. She did tell me she brought pepper spray and in some incidents where she was afraid because the men were drunk and she drove in the early morning! That is where she made tips especially is what she said.
I would recommend driving during the day if you consider the companies.

@infatuatedbby Yes, I am considering driving only during the day. First, will see, if the interviews result in a job this coming week. Glad your friend was ready for drunk people, as that would be a hard night and early morning.

I drove for Uber and Lyft. I had no problem but did not make much money because I drove days. Nights is better but dangerous. I would rather recruit people to drive which I have done in the past. It's more profitable.

I will see what happens with the job interviews, as one of them was really a possibility. The hours were good for me. I'll post again, if I do decide this is the right option.
