I can't stand to see a cockroach in the house. You just know that there are hundreds hiding somewhere that you can't see. I read somewhere there are hundreds you don't see, for every one you do see. They give me the creeps. Apparently, everyone can be invaded by cockroaches. Those disgusting, dirty, creepy little bugs that make you run for the exterminator. Those little critters that no one wants around but are so hard to convince to leave. It seems that even the White House has been invaded by these creatures.cockroaches. Much to their horror, Eleanore Roosevelt's housekeeper found so many in the White House Kitchen in 1933 that they ended up having the whole kitchen renovated. We're not supposed to @HazySue we're just humans and honestly I can't figure out what our purpose is either, all humans do is destroy.

@rebelann I thought that everything here on earth was supposed to have a purpose. Some humans do seem to destroy everything they come in contact with.

I haven't figured out what the purpose of having these little insects on earth are.

We been lucky that we haven't had any of those at my house. I hope to never see one in my opinion. We do get alot of stink bugs though and those are even more annoying.

They really gross me out. They were everywhere in Florida. It was so hard to keep them out.

Yeah, it is so much easier for them to invade your home down here. When I lived up north I rarely saw one. Down here they seem to be everywhere.

@HazySue They are gross. I have some 'surface spray'. Whatever you spray if the insects land there, it is supposed to kill them Supposed to be good for six months. It would be good if it works.

It's to bad they can't be frozen into extinction during the winter.

I can't either. They give me the creeps too. We had some a few months ago. Had to sack up all our belongings and have the maintenance bring the exterminator in. They did it a couple of times. Two weeks later my grandson saw another one downstairs. I haven't said anything to maintenance this time. It's no use. We never had these until the refugees came here. Interesting about Eleanor Roosevelt.

@celticeagle I'm glad to hear that. There were a few here when we first moved in so we had the house fumigated immediately.

They are so unclean. It doesn't matter how clean you are, they somehow manage to find you
