You took a nice photo. Yes, people like sunsets and sunrises and we also want to take good photos for them. Perhaps the sunrises is my favorite since there will be sunny after that. It shows that a brand new day has begun.

Sunrises are almost magical aren't they? There is darkness and gradually the light starts to spread its fingers and then this great ball of fire appears. It is like a new miracle each day.

Asking me whether I love sunsets and sunrises is an understatement. I have a passion and my folder is busting at the seams. Having said that I mostly capture the sunrise moment when it visits me in my garden.

The picture of this sunset is beautiful

When I lived in the countryside long ago, I learned a few sayings about weather from an old neighbor. There are many for sunsets/sunrises. The one for your picture would be "A red sky at sunset announces wind or rain." Is it wind or rain ?

No, just another lovely day. The sayings I heard - and they are very old and I haven't found them to be very accurate - were 'red sky at night shepherds' delight, red sky in the morning all day storming'.

Sunsets are my favorite. My one and only New Year's resolution this year was to watch as many sunsets as possible. I have seen some magnificent sunsets so far this year, and I only hope they keep getting better as the year goes on!

"Red sky at night, shepherd's delight", eh? In this case, it rather looks as though it presages unsettled weather! A beautiful sky and a beautiful shot. I love the charcoal black trees against the sky! They do so much to add interest to the shot. Well done, Vince!
