Bombax ceiba is the flower of my city. I wonder whether it is just available here. The trees are very tall and straight. The flowers are red when they are blooming. And now it is the time for them to bloom. It is beautiful to see the streets are all red because of these flowers.

The cotton tree has beautiful flowers, I know that it also grows in other countries, I am sure it grows in India.

I =have never seen it here in California but it is really so pretty lovely color too I can imagine how beautiful your streets must look when they are all blooming wow

@youless Not where I live. My mother had cotton trees but they were different. Here is a link

@allknowing The cotton trees in your side are quite different than here. I saw the photos. The same trees can look differently in different places. Such as Chinese look differently than Indians

These do look beautiful. I haven't heard of it here but according to one website it grows in the northernmost tip of Australia.

I found that there are different kinds of flowers in my city in the recent years and this is why the city is much more beautiful.
