My gardening efforts are more of a hit and miss affair.
Through the years, I found out that I've been successful in growing herbs, roses, marigolds, chilli and succulents.
I think that I'll just stick to these plants from now on and apportion my small garden concentrating on them.
What are your favourite plants?

That's really good. My favourites were the ones that thrived. I tried to plant cilantro but it didn't grow well.

@vickyrose Your plants should be comfortable with you and you are doing the right thing

@allknowing I must be, but I have learned how to handle these plants pretty well now and they respond to my care.

@vickyrose I had to move my gardenia in a big pot because I need to transfer it in the greenhouse in winter.

I love them all, I grow some perennials, Lambs Ear and Artemesia and I have roses and spring bulbs, like tulips, hyacinth and Muscari. I plant some annuals, Gerbera Daisies, Dusty Miller, Pansies, petunias, celosia and Portulacas.. of all of those - The Portulacas are great. they are hardy when it is dry and I love their pretty and colorful little rose like flowers.

Awww, i like all the plants that you have mentioned there. I used to have a lot of various perennials, but left the house with my garden. I now live in a small flat with a small backyard. I still have petunias and carnations. Gerbera daisies! I might plant this too as they are hardy.

I love perennials, it's just the maintenance work involved that's discouraging me now.

I do too. I like plants that are tough and edible.

@vickyrose Our friends have about 300 roses on 5 acres. That's a LOT of pruning and care.

Me too, I wish I had a bigger garden, but I have to be realistic now, at my age.

Roses, I found out are quite easy to maintain, prolific flowers as you remove the spent ones. Enjoy your roses.

Bouganvilleas, I used to have these plants in my previous place as it's more of a tropical plant. One day, you will find the time to have one on your front entrance.

Are those from your garden? They are pretty!
I like growing peas, tomatoes & Japanese mums (they're edible).
