Some of my textile from Guatemala

Good afternoon.How is your day going.Mine is great. I have a photo here of the textile that we bought in Guatemala Some one here wanted to see it. This is only half of it.We have quite a few.I love the color and the feel of it. They are very talented people there.Most of this is material that they wear. They use it to wrap around themselves.Like a long skirt and have a blouse which is call a hupil The colors of the material represent what village they are from. Have you ever seen them fully dress with this material they are very talented and work very hard.

yes I have and was fascinated as the colors and designs were gorgegous I did not know that they represent their villages love to learn these facts those materials are really lovely

That is neat, thanks for the cultural lesson and do like the quality of material. I wish the US would get back to neat stuff like that instead of all this corporate stuff.
