Brunch in Paradise

Our new neighbor invited us to his gorgeous condo for brunch. Our good friends and his sister were there. We had so much fun. His sister helped with all his decorating, and boy, was I impressed!
She wanted to see our place. I was proud that I keep our place spotless, and she thought it looked perfect the way it was, except for one print hanging on the dining room wall. She thought it needs more pop, and I agree. We will go shopping when I return to Florida next season. I have another new friend!
In the meantime, my husband helped our neighbor with a few odds and ends. We invited him to dinner Tuesday night.
We only have 1 1/2 weeks left in our little paradise, but a lot to look forward to at our home up north.

Awww, you are so sweet for saying that. Now that we fly, I will miss passing your town. I remember that it was thundering and lightning last year at your exit off the highway. Just think of all your camping trips you will have coming up!

@DianneN Seeing the colourful flowers blooming will raise your spirits and seeing your children and grand children will make it all worth while! I hope the heat and sun have helped your husband too and he is fit now.

What a beautiful view. Enjoy the rest of your vacation there. I am beginning to count unconsciously and a bit sad because I have to leave Angus for a few months again. I don't worry though as he is well taken care by our angel Jane in the house. My Filipino family loves him.

@TheHorse We had this house as "vacation" home for 9 years before moving here. It was funny in the beginning, but soon we were tired of the trip to come from France. In winter the snowstorms were a problem, during summer all the tourists on the highway were a problem too. I was relieved when we finally moved here.

I used to be sick when we returned to our home up north, but now I'm extra happy to see my kids, grandkids, family, my old friends, and Doodles. Lots of fun things happening this year, especially the wedding! My husband would never live in Florida full time. He likes the four seasons, his pals, and misses the kids so much. I could easily live here! Lol!
