Good afternoon.I feel better this morning.Told Mike need to get out and we did. Mike and I been to Guatemala so many times. You would think that I speak Spanish fluently not.Mike does.I do know phrases how to get around. I was never very good learning any kind of foreign languages.Just phrases enough to get by.I have been taking a course online with Durolingo this is a very good site for any one want to learn.Italian,Spanish,German,etc. I do not know how many here speak Spanish. But here is a fun test. mostly on animals. This I know very well or I think I do.Want to give it a shot I will give you half a dozen of this. 1.el raton 2.el oso 3.el leon 4.el coney 5.el mono. try it fun and something different. I have noticed that lost a lot of my followers here? Not sure why?

I don't know any of those words. We've been to Mexico 7 or 8 times now but don't know any Spanish. I'd like to learn it though.

I learned Spanish in high school, it was easier for me to learn and actually to retain then learning and retaining French was. I don't know why, I don't use either language.

I learnt French at school, and can get by, but I've never tried Spanish. I never take any notice of who is following me, so wouldn't know if I'd lost any or not. Or do you mean that they are just not ciommenting on your posts?

@amadeo It is "el pato" Alfredo las is feminine plural, but the word pato is masculine. In Italian and Spanish there is a big difference is not like English language. I understand Spanish very well and I can speak it a bit. Pato is also the slang for "gay" in Spanish, I thought this could be interest you.

I am using Duolingo to try to brush up on my French. I enjoy it. I don't know any Spanish so I'd have to guess at these. Is 3 a lion? 2 a cow perhaps?
