It's been a long day. I left at 10 this morning and got home at 4 for 5 minutes before I was out the door again to help my oldest. Now I'm home for the night. No work on my book today, and I don't know if I'll get to it tonight.
I'm also proofing a pastor's thesis for his masters. It's quite interesting. But it means I have a lot on my plate trying to get everything done in a timely manner. He wants the thesis back in a week. It won't take that long, which is good. I'll also have Freedom's Cry finished in that time. Not by Saturday liked I hoped, but definitely by Easter.
Counseling, laundry, groceries, and my son, who will be stopping by for pizza, which I needed to go get another for both of us.
It's been a productive day away from home. Now to make it productive on the home front, but that might need to wait until tomorrow.
So I'm basically in and out. It's been one of those days. I hope your day has gone well for you. Thanks for reading.

Wow-you really do have a lot on your plate right now--hang in there and it sounds like you are almost done with your book--congrats!!!!

Sounds as if you are very busy. The pastor's thesis sounds very interesting. Can you share a bit about it?

@just4him I wish I could find a church and a preacher/pastor that my family and I could attend and I could feel confident at opening up to a biblical counselor. Pray for me.

He's actually my counselor, and his thesis concerns biblical counseling. It's actually a very good read. I'll have that finished soon as well. He asked me to proof it for him because he knows I'm an author, not because I'm counseling with him.

I've been working a new quilt project...a lot of applique. That and setting up a new business. I'm going to give one on one quilting classes.

@just4him I may have to figure out a way to teach long distance. I've had quite a few responses of people who are I tread but live too far away.

@just4him - I'm so glad you are finding time to get your writing done. None writers have no idea how time consuming it can be. I had a friend who wrote for the Dallas Morning News and wrote several books. She said it would drive her crazy when her kids were in elementary school and other moms, who had jobs in offices, would call her and start the conversations by saying, "Since you don't work, would you...?" She said she worked hard, but other people did not appreciate it.

Yes, I've been busy. I got a lot done on my book yesterday, and had a ladies brunch with women from my church this morning. This afternoon I'm going to get more work done on the book and hopefully bring it to a close, but maybe tomorrow - nope - birthday party tomorrow - then Monday I might get it finished. I hope so.

The pizza was delicious. I made the second one yesterday and still have leftovers. I did get a lot of work done on the book yesterday and will be working on it again today. I'm close to being finished.
