I took this picture as my daughter and I walked into the building. The yellow caution tape was still all around the booth and people clamoring around close to the things they knew they wanted to grab right away.
I ended up spending $12.50 and I'm quite happy with my purchases.
I bought:
**1/4 yard of tan fabric to use for the yo-yo project for .75 (just in case I don't have enough of tan)
**4 pack of new thread with 2 brown, dark green and maroon thread for $2 (didn't need, but am out of the browns)
**Bag with 24 - 5 1/4 inch squares, 4 - 4 1/2 inch blocks made and some other misc fabric for just .25. (just because they were cheap!)
**Bag of 40- 5 inch squares for .50 (again, just because they were cheap, but these will make great coasters)
**Bag of 9 different plain colors of larger scrap pieces of fabric for $3 (Needed these to finish up the backing for a quilt I need to finish)
**Bag of 33 good sized triangle of fabric in seasonal prints including Christmas, Halloween, St. Patricks Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Valentine's Day. (I will use these to make yo-yo's as I already had in my mind to make table toppers for each season out of yo-yo's) for $3
** Bag with 8 larger scrap pieces of flannel for $3 (I have been wanting to start one of those rag quilts so these will give me a good start on it)
Now I'm really itchin' to get to stitchin' yet here I sit, always something seems to take precedence over what I really want to be doing.
Do you think I got some good deals? Or, how long do you think it might be before I actually get to using them?

You really got quite a bit for that amount. Hope you get to do a lot of what you really like to do so much.
