No Pool for a Few Days

I'm staying put. Why? More car trouble. I'm going to church tomorrow and then I have an appointment with the shop Tuesday morning. So the less I use the car, the better.
It looked like it was fixed when I brought it home, however, it is still giving me the same trouble. I told my son what it's doing and he said it's probably the timing. I almost didn't get laundry done on Thursday, it kept shutting off on me. All the needles are going haywire on it. So it's going to sit in the parking lot and only leave to go to church tomorrow, and pray it works okay there and back.
So that means, no pool yesterday, today, Monday, or Tuesday. I will be back there on Wednesday.
In the meantime I have time to get my book worked on, which I'm going to do right now, and get the house ready for Easter. I'm making Leg of Lamb. My boys will be here. I don't know if my older son is coming with his girlfriend and her kids or not. There will be plenty to eat regardless.
Now it's time to get more work done on Freedom's Cry. I might surprise myself and actually finish it today, though I'm not counting on it. I'm still a chapter and a half or less away from it being finished. I'm almost ready to do the happy dance.

Well sorry to hear you are still having car troubles after it's already been to the shop once. I hope you get more done on your book and have a wonderful easter dinner with family.

I finished my novel this morning before going to bed, just after midnight. I'm riding a euphoric high right now that it's finished. Now on to the finishing stages.

Wow sorry to hear about your car troubles hope and pray long and hard that you make it to church and home tomorrow. I know you have to be missing your pool time but until your car is fixed you are right by staying put. I hope you get your book finished. What type of book is it? I hope you have a good easter with your family.

Thank you. I'm certain I'll get to church. It just might take some convincing my car it's going to make the trip. Yes, I'm missing my pool time, but safety is important. My book should be finished tomorrow. I'm working on the last chapter now. It's Historical fiction, fourth in a series and the final in the series. The first three are published. It's Christian fiction. I will be happy to finish it. It's been a long work in progress and it's not done yet. The editing and revision stage happens next, but at least the story is written.

@Tina30219 The book is finished. Finished it at 12:15 AM this morning. I'm riding a huge high now that it's finished. More work to come on it, but the story is finished.

@tammys85 Yes. I finished at 12:18 AM Monday morning, day after Easter. I started editing on Monday and have 11 chapters gone through already. It's going fast, no typos so far, just some comma problems and fleshing it out, deleting unnecessary text, adding where necessary, that sort of thing.
