Something Creepy Happened Last Night

Last night, I had a bad sleep, I turned and tossed several times, unable to get my sleep. Turning on my left side, I had the strange feeling that the pillow was unusually cold.
I thought it would have warmed up eventually, but it stayed cold and I had an unpleasant feeling. I finally decided to move on the right, the pillow was not cold on the right and I was finally able to sleep.
While we were having breakfast, my husband asked me if I had removed the duvet on my side because he felt a cold air coming by my side of the bed.
I had goose bumps and the movie "The Sixth Sense" came to my mind, the kid who felt cold air when the ghosts were around.
Well, last night it was three months since my sister in law died.
Do you believe in paranormal phenomena?
I feel pretty nervous going to bed tonight.

Ohhhhhh. This is not something that would happen to me . . . I've always thought spirits and such would never visit me because I am of no use to them. But I do think they do pick up on Hubby. That being said, I have seen on paranormal tv shows that there is a coldness in the air when there is a spiritual presence around !4 people like this

@infatuatedbby I usually wake up when he gets up, he sleeps very little. I will ask him to stay upstairs, he can go in the little office to read, I would feel better.

I have a similar experience one night.
I was using my hair dryer when I felt a cold draft moving behind me, from one side to another side.
It felt like someone had moved behind me, but it couldn't happen this way, because the furniture would have blocked the path of anyone trying to move behind me.
Anyway nobody was home.

I have had many paranormal experiences in my life, I will tell one that is not scary, many years back I was alone in our vacant lot doing gardening when suddenly there was a very strong scent of flowers that kind of filled the whole place, when I went home, I was told that an aunt who had been ill for a long time passed away. The vacant lot had no flowers and it was open space walled all around.

I think she is trying to tell me something. We had a very good relationship, I was close to her all the time, especially when my brother decided to divorce from her, I was by her side. I only have to figure out if there is a problem and she is trying to warn me.

Your description of last night's events gave me the chills! I wonder if someone was trying to communicate with you, or to be close to you for comfort? Other than the feeling of cold, did you get any other feelings, such as negativity or dread? If you didn't feel a sense of fear or harm, then perhaps it wasn't something that was there to harm you. Therefore, you shouldn't feel nervous about going to bed tonight.

@moffittjc I had no sense of fear, but I was unable to go back to sleep and I felt that cold spot that I could not explain. I do not feel that I am in danger, but I feel that someone wants to tell me something.

You are right Judy, I hate not to find a logic explanation when things like this happen. I try to find something that can explain this, but I am no more skeptical as I used to be. I think that our brain is more powerful than we think and it can play some tricks.

@LadyDuck We hear noises here sometimes and always want to know what has caused them. But it is always me who has to go and investigate!

Yes, last night it was a quiet night. I had weird past experiences that made me believe that there is something we cannot understand. The one that convinced me, was the time my father came to tell me to bring Mom immediately to see a doctor because she had stomach cancer. My brother laughed at me when I asked him to examine Mom, I had to insist and I am glad that I did. She had stomach cancer and he rushed her to the hospital before it attacked other organs.

@AbbyGreenhill I can understand very well, it happened to me too, to feel that something wrong was going on and in fact there was a serious problem. I know that we cannot explain many things. A kidnapping is a terrible experience.

@LadyDuck Things like like will never be understood. Years and years ago my sister and her boyfriend were kidnapped from a bar and driven around for hours before they were dropped off and able to call the cops. Years later I was going thru papers preparing for my first husband and i to apply for a mortgage. While digging thru papers I found the article from the paper about my sister being kidnapped. While reading it I had a horrible feeling and then the phone rang..it was my mother - my sister was in a very serious accident and was in the ER and it was very bad. Strange....timing...I get the chills today when I think about that.

Yes, I have had many encounters and experience with 'things' on the 'other' side. But you can created a white energy field around you to protect yourself. Put a container with water somewhere in the room...and that will help too.

@LadyDuck Have you tried saying it aloud that she is welcome to meet with you in your dreams? Once will do. And if you are sensitive enough she might be clear. Why do you think she is trying to communicate? Did she have unresolved issues? Do you know?

@Gita17112016 She had no time for a Will or to instruct people, she did not expect to die, she was sure she could fight cancer. I suspect she had a Bank account, or a safe, that nobody knows she had. I think she wants to let us know that we must go there and check.
