Hey everyone! I hope your having a good day so far. My morning has been good. =)
This week has seemed to last forever and it's been a rough one. The kids coming home has been great-but other things have been tough.
The O2 sensors need to be replaced in the truck along with the brakes and a vacuum line/hose. A roof my husband was repairing got cancelled in the middle of the job because the owner never got a permit for the work to be done. So my husband lost out on $1,000. =( The boys that I babysit for were supposed to be coming this week-that got changed at the last minute too.
I will be very glad when this week is done and over with! Hopefully this weekend will bring better things for us.

Yes, T.G.I.F. Hope to sleep in tomorrow after getting up so early to help my daughter. Sad that your husband lost all that money. I'd be put out.

Does the roofing company your husband work for not pull the permits for the homeowners? When I had my roof repaired after the hurricanes in 2004, the company we hired took care of all the permits and inspections for us.

@moffittjc The guy he's working for was supposed to but he's cheap and was in a hurry for the job to get done so he tried to get away with not getting one.

@moffittjc Yeah the guy told my husband the permits were pulled already until my husband found out they were not. The renters weren't happy because their roof was leaking. And my husband wasn't happy since he didn't get paid.

@LovingMyBabies Ooh, that's not good! Did your husband's company start work on the roof without the proper permits? Was the homeowner really angry?

That's a shame that your hubby lost out on all of that money because the home owner dropped the ball on getting a permit. Hopefully the next time he takes a job, he has the owner get that before he purchases the supplies.
I hope that things turn around for you at your house, maybe next week will be better!

I hope things get better for you, I always hated when we had a job and the inspector came by and the owner had not got the permits.
Some of the owners were so cheap they would not buy them and have the people to fix things on the weekend when that office was closed.

@andriaperry Thank you. Yeah this guy is a slumlord and cheap about everything. He doesn't want to ever fix things right on his properties and he takes the easy way always.
Worst part is he owns a chiropractic place and lives in a mansion!
