I am really, really happy that it is raining. Did I say I was happy? We are in a drought now. They have put us on water restriction. We can only water our grass and such once a week. I can just imagine all the plants and flowers cheering and singing Mother Natures praise for sending the rain our way. I do so hope that we get enough rain to do us some good.

@HazySue I hope they do. Its cloudy here and cooler than it has been. I'm guessing I should water gardens cause if we get rain it will be just a tease.

I am glad to hear that you are no longer in danger of a drought this year. We got a little rain but not enough to matter.

We have had rain and more rain for days but still, we are not out of the woods as far as the drought from last year. Hopefully, it will be over soon, So glad you are getting rain too.

@HazySue Still raining, rain again today. The whole state is in drought advisory is an improvement from a drought watch, we are still asked to use 10% less water than normal.

When we had a water restriction I saved the bath water to use in our garden. It was a task to lug buckets of water out to the garden, but it worked.

Last summer we were in a drought and so far now we are almost 7 inches above normal for the year. Glad you got some rain!

It rained for about an hour. The plants were thrilled but boy do we need a whole lot more of it.
