Are you taking a day off this week-or ever?

Some never take a day off. They work for an employer, work a job at home, take care of pets, family, a house, property, vehicles, older neighbors and more! While we hear people say they have a day off, which usually means they will not be at their main job, most never really stop working. There is always something to, isn't there? Even if you want to relax and read a book or watch a movie, you probably have things to do first, such as walking a dog, prepare a snack or a meal, put on some laundry, make phone calls, pay bills. What do you find yourself doing with the time you are supposed to have "off" these days?

We are both retired now, but my husband still does some online jobs for his clients. I think women are never retired. I have the house to clean, the laundry, prepare food, take care of the garden and... myLot.

I work 24/7, so there is no time off but I wouldn't have it any other way. =)

I am looking after someone but I feel like I need looking after just for a bit anyway. Very tiring week as I have had to follow them around saying you can“t do that yet you have to wait two weeks.

@PatZAnthony Yes and not only that I have to take the dog to the vet again with his ears yet again. This is like a dog chasing its tail.

@lovinangelsinstead21 It really is! Hope you find an answer for the dog's issues. We have dealt with so many ear issues due to allergies and more with our dogs.

@PatZAnthony I do not mind the packing as much as I mind the unpacking. That feels like so much work for some reason.

Excellent question. Since I'm retired, I'm always off, but I'm always doing something, whether it's writing a book, getting it ready for publication, cleaning house, or being here myLotting, I'm always busy.

To answer your last question, i normally just watch movies and series, play a game, read and surf, listen to music, and cook. No work. I make money online so my earnings shout not move on that day. I think i only spent 2 separate day offs this year so far..

Every day in the last 17 years was a day off. We do what we want when we want. Doing 'stuff' isn't working. Sure, do stuff, but there is no 'man' telling us what to do or how to do them.

Terrific question! Since I've retired I have had more Me time, but a woman's work is never done. Fortunately, my husband has always helped me. When I'm not busy with home, family, and friends, I myLot!
