Playing fetch with my cat

The pictures are kind of dark because they were taken last night. My cat, Merle, loves to play fetch. He would play it for hours if we played with him. He will bring something to us and sit there and wait for us to throw it. Then he will run and get it and bring it back. It is just too funny. He enjoys it so much. I've had a lot of cats over the years but this is the first cat I ever had that likes to play fetch. He is always playing whether its fetch or something else. He will play all evening and play himself out and then sleep with us all night. He only gets up in the morning when the alarm goes off. So did you ever have a cat or do you have a cat that likes to play fetch?
