Such a Sad Look On His Face

When you see a photo of an animal that is considered a wild animal with such a sad look on their face do you ever wonder what is going on in their minds?
I often wonder if they are questioning why they are closed up in a cage instead of running around free they way they were intended to be.
Don't get me wrong, I love looking at wild animals but I wish there was a better way for all of them to live out their lives while we enjoy watching them do so.
The places that let them roam and take care of them are my choice of a place to go. I believe most of them are called Wild Kingdoms.
I don't know what made me think about this today but no that I have I can't seem to get it off my mind.
What do you think?

That is the first thing I always think of about animals in cages Susan.
How sad it must be.

@TiarasOceanView I love to see them, they are so beautiful but don't like seeing them in cages. I think about how I would feel being inside a cage watching them on the outside.

I feel sad too. Human kind always thinks they can rule the world and everything, they taunt other animals, and even taunt and torture people of their own kind. That's very bad and cruel to torture other living things and make fun. Some day bad fortune may befall on human kind. Hopefully it would not happen.

No one likes to be caged. Especially wild animals. I hate to go to the zoo because of this. And animals need companions. Their own kind is good. Someone to hang out with.

@HazySue .....I think this is why a lot of dogs bark and carry on out of boredom.

@celticeagle I agree I do believe that animals need to be with their own kind, I believe they do need socialization.

'tis horrific 'n most weighin' 'pon my heart to see critters'n cages, 'hind bars. i agree, they wonder what they've done to deserve such a life. i refuse to go to our local zoo coz 'f the critters livin' conditions. they're deplorable. i've watched the 'light' leave many a mustang 'n such's truly heartbreakin'.

@crazyhorseladycx I am sure they do wonder what they have done to deserve this punishment.

I'm with ya there @HazySue . I guess it would be akin to prisoners being in jail; except for one thing......the prisoners have more rights than the animals do.

The monkey looks like he is in deep thought. Probably wondering why he is a cage instead of being free to run around as you mentioned in your post. Very sad
