Did you know the year is NOT halfway over? / myLot

There are 365 days this year. Today is the 182nd day. The year will not actually be halfway over until Noon July 2nd. So if you had anything you wanted to accomplish during the first half of the year, but didn't, get busy...you still have a few hours left.

So many questions! - Is the year nearly half gone or are there slightly more than 6 months still to go? Why don't we celebrate a 'year hump day' like we do for weeks and (sometimes) months? Does too much musing still produce a musement?

I'm going to use the "half full or half empty glass" expression to look at the situation. This means I still have half of a year to procrastinate before I make my new year resolution for 2018

Well, in that case, I better pull out my bucket list and see how much I can accomplish in the next day and a half! Oh wait, I'm too lazy to make a bucket list. Oh well, I guess I still have a day and a half to chill out and do absolutely nothing and be proud of that!

Unfortunately the projects I didn't get done will take a little longer than that. I wanted to finish a manuscript. As there is a lot left to do on it, my goal is to have it finished by the end of the year. I don't write as fast as I used to.
