There are only two things that get me out of the pool....

One would be food - if I'm getting hungry then I'm usually willing to get out.
The second thing - which is really the fist - would be THUNDER. And right now I'm inside because of that.
We were in the pool early to hopefully avoid the afternoon heat and it was fun for an hour - then I heard the first crack of thunder and said 'bye'.....within 10 minutes of getting out the rain started and I said 'thank you'...we need it badly.
At first a nice gentle rain, and then the heavens opened up. I did have a bad connection for a while, but it's fine now even though it is still raining. We have not had rain in over a week and this rain is very welcomed.
What's the weather in your neck of the woods?
Photo is mine.

Oh too bad you could not stay in a bit longer.
Glad you are having something nice to eat.
It is hot and sunny here, no sign of any rain Abby.

I love rain. I also love a nice pool. Right now it is colder. We will have our first freeze soon. I am not looking forward to it.

I think pool is finished for today - now it's just cloudy and I'm not sure if more rain is coming. Enjoy your swim!

Thunder and lightening would definitely get me out of the pool in a hurry. We have cloudy skies and it looks like rain but so far nothing

All the rain has done is make it more muggy. It is 92 and raining.

I would get out for thunder as well. I would probably keep a snack near the pool for the hunger part. It is sunny here but seems cool this morning.

I have a fear of t-storms, so I can hear thunder when it's a long way off.

@AbbyGreenhill People who play golf have been struck on the golf course, holding their golf umbrella! You cannot believe how silly people are to do that.

What about snakes? Will snakes get you out of the pool?

@JolietJJake - that almost happened once, I was in the pool and Ruby wouldn't get in and kept barking at something - it was a snake...a little one but still a snake. I didn't gt out, but I did go to the opposite end of the pool while my husband fished out the snake.

It's very warm in Michigan, too! But, what do you do to avoid those harmful sun rays? I get pre-cancers, so staying indoors is what works best for this issue. (I remember you from Bubblews!)

I think we are on day 16 of temperature in the 90s. The rain helped lower it today.
