How Dare You Tell my Daughter To Get Out of Her House – She is Only 12

The other day my nephew came to see me. He was fuming and ready to go ballistic on his girlfriend. When he was at work, his girlfriend kicked his daughter out of his house.
Last year his girlfriend lost her job and had no way to support her or her 14 year old son. My nephew felt sorry for her and let her move in with him and his daughter. Right away, she felt like this was her home now and could tell his daughter what she could or could not do.
However, this time she has gone too far. She literally threw his daughter out of the house clothes and all. When she came here she was crying and didn’t know what to do. I finally got her calmed down enough to find out what happened. She told me that she was playing a video game with her dad’s girlfriend's son and they got into an argument. His mother started yelling at her and she talked back.
The woman slapped her in the face and then proceeded to take all of her belonging in her room and throw them out of the house. I was so angry I called my niece's father. He came over to my house and exploded when he saw his daughter’s face all red.
For the past 18 months my nephew has supported his girlfriend and her son. The other day he had enough. After seeing his daughter in tears, her face red from being slapped, and all of her clothes in the yard he wanted to kill this woman. I went with him to his house and had to hold him back from beating the crap out of her.
My nephew told this woman she has until tomorrow to get out of his house. So far she is not moving and is calling here every 15 minutes asking where my nephew is. She is demanding money to buy food for her and her son.
What a mess. I think the next step is to call the police and have her removed from the property. What would you do if this happened to you?
If someone did this to my daughter, I would of thrown all their stuff out on the road an kicked them out of my house.

she sounds nasty.
I'd have thrown her out the minute I learned she hit my kid.
I've known people like that and they're parasites.
PS...good to see old members returning to mylot

Thanks Mike. I told him months ago to get rid of this woman. She would only cause him grief in the end. My nephew is a free spirit Tahitian man who loves the outdoors. She is a stuck up French woman who only wants to live on caviar and expensive foods. Since she lost her job she hasn't even tried to find another one. I guess she feels that my newphew owes her a living.

@marguicha I also agree with Mike. I think my nephew is trying his best to be nice and give her a few days to find a place to live. Nobody wants her at their house because she doesn't work.

I do not know how the laws are there, but he has been very patient. I would call the police, have her removed and also file assault charges on her. Her poor kid being raised by such a bad example.

@andriaperry Yeppers. But it's a slippery slope. If he calls CPS on her, he could get busted for "failure to protect."

@andriaperry No kidding. That is why my nephew is so angry right now. He has never hit his daughter and to have another woman hit her makes him explode.

Is it possible to file a police report against her for the assault? Would the police actually do anything about it? If it were in the US, I'd totally suggest that he do that and then contact Child Protective Services. Here, she would probably be considered a legal tenant and he'd have to go through the courts to evict her... but the process could probably be eased a bit if there were a protective order against her and she wasn't able to stay in the home any longer, which would be the ultimate goal of the police report.
What kind of woman does that to a child, anyway? Ugh. I have some choice words to describe her, but I doubt many (if any) would make it through the filter. May that evil hag reap ten times what she sows.

I do too. I could use all kinds of choice words to describe this woman. At first she was so sweet and nice. Belive it or not at one time we were friends. Not anymore. I haven't spoken with her in so long, especially after she started to be mean to my niece.

@sugartoes You are so right. She is not a good person and I don't need to be her friend.

Alright, now I am caught up on this, I know here, it would mean she has established residency there, and you would need a restraining and notice to get her out.. There I don't know what you would need, sounds like this is his girlfriend?

@CookieMonster46 Right now we have no idea. It is the weekend and things don't move on the weekends here on the islands.

Yes, it is or was his girlfriend. Here laws are a little different and we don't need all this to get her out. If he had gone and filed papers saying they were living together then we would have to take other measures to get her out. He never did this even though she wanted him too.

If the woman is refusing to leave his house he should definitely call the police and have her removed. The sad thing is your nephew tried to help this woman then she did what she did. Maybe your nephew should have put his foot down and set rules before letting her move in. It also sounds like the woman has anger management problems.

I am not sure about any of this. At first she was a nice person. I know that my nephew tried to make her son help around the yard when he got home from school. But his mother refused and after this she was not so nice to my nephew's daughter. But this time she has gone way too far.

@poehere I'll bet that her son is headed for trouble in the next few years. If he doesn't "act up" he will probably be one of those kids who will think that they don't have to work or they should be promoted to the boss on there first day on the job. It sounds like she is setting her son up for failure. I guess you really don't know a person until you live with them.

@RichardMeister I think that maybe she will take her son and move back to France. That would be the best for all of us. Hopefully, this won't happen, but like you say she is not doing her son any good.

If she's not gone tomorrow he and I are going to his house and boxing up her stuff. We will then take it to the road and leave it. I told him to stay away for now. I don't want her calling the police on him. They are staying with us and all is wonderful here riht now. Tomorrow is another story. Will see what happens then.

No she has no leegal right here on the islands. My nephew never made papers saying they were living together and he was taking care of her. For all legal purposes she is just staying in his home until she find a job and moves out. Well looks like she will be moving out sooner than later.

No, she is not. She is just an outright mean person who wants to control my nephew. She thinks because he was nice to help her she can do this to him.

Now I have the whole story. If you could you should rip her head off but I sure hope she will soon be long gone as in your last post. Good luck and sending up prayers you get rid of her.

OMG how awful for that little girl @poehere . Since they're not married and she's not on the lease, he can have her thrown out with no problem.

@nanette64 That one is funny. First off we don't have homeless shelters in Tahiti and there is are bridges on the islands. This one would be kind of hard.

@poehere If I was him I'd tell her to go find a homeless shelter or go live under a bridge.

I would have tossed them too
BUT by law he has to evict her in writing and file it in the courts, she could end up there for 60 days and it could cost him almost $500 to have her set out.
Does he own the house? if he does he can turn off the power and water and move in with you till she leaves.
BUT another way is to call DHR to her for putting a minor out on the street, that is child neglect and more!

We have been to the police and they said he does not need to do this. If she is not gone tomorrow they will come and remove her out of the house. He has filed a report against her for hitting his daughter. There will be a court hearing soon over this one.

He is a single father raising his daughter. Her mother left when she was a baby. That little girl means the world to him and nobody has the right to hit her. He never touches his daughter.

She sounds like a problematic person. Can't believe she would go that far after all the help she got from your nephew!
