The rains we've been getting has caused all the weeds and many other plants grow, I finally have black eyed susans so the other day while photographing Ally, I thought I'd take a few shots of the susan blossoms, well look what's lookin for lunch.
Are you getting more than usual rainfall?

We got so much in June that people are still drying out their basements. Since then it's not been too much.
The closeup of your flower almost looks like a sunflower. I have some new flowers blooming finally that i planted from seed. Let me see if I can upload it.

In the life of a planet it could be a normal transition @dollaboy but since we do not live that long we just happen to live in a time when our planet is going through what could be a normal phase, of course the level of destruction done by humans does not help it much.

Aww, how sad. I think progress means using far too many herbicides and pesticides so that those flowers were not pollinated properly so disappeared. It's really sad when you stop and think about it.

The storm moved away. So we experienced the sun since Sunday. Beautiful flower.

That must feel wonderful. I love sunshine but because we usually get a lot of it the rain we have been getting is such a relief

We have had more rain than I ever saw before. I'm glad I live on a mountain. Even Lake Ontario is flooding
