Do You Kiss Your Pets?

Look at this beautiful painted turtle that Doodles, the cat, found for me! It came out of the pond, but returned quickly. I mean, slowly. But return it did. I certainly wouldn't want to kiss it!
On the otherhand, I do kiss my pets, cats and dogs only. I've always done so. They are my furry little babies and I can't help myself. I carry Doodles around and squeeze and kiss him. He purrs and squeezes my hand with his paw. I just won't kiss him after he catches a critter. I wait until he takes a bath or two or three.
Do you kiss your pets or are you afraid of germs?

I don´t have pets to kiss and never did..I am very loving with them, but not kissies..too scary for me with OCD germ thingie lol

@DianneN I was just re reading my response..I meant to say that I have had animals in the past not that I never did, I just don´t have any now..silly me.

My daughter has 2 parakeets now . . . but they will only let her kiss them

I have a friend who has a white cat . . . and oh you just know she kisses her. The cat (Mona Lisa) has red and pink lipstick kiss marks on her all the time !

I don't kiss, just never have, but I do hug them. Ally has the Husky attitude and doesn't care much for hugging but she loves when I talk to her and will let me pet her. My friend Carol used to breed huskies and told me it was normal for them to be a little stand offish.

Mine get a hug and a kiss too behind their furry little ears. They are affectionate and will kiss me back usually on my hand, but sometimes lick my cheek.

Yes, I kiss my kitty, he doesn't go outside, so I think it is pretty safe to do so!

I do kiss my pets, always have. I love them very much and I'm not a person that worries about germs-that's what soap, water and oral hygiene products are for. =)

We had a cat "Star" for 17 years and had to have him put down over a year ago, but I don't recall ever kissing him, couldn't get passed the hair going in my mouth. But I loved him held him and petted him, he would sit on my lap at the desktop computer. He would paw at my leg when I would be at the computer and I would give in and let him jump up. We miss him terribly. But I know when I go to heaven I will see him and my other pets too.

No I don`t but Roscoe will kiss me when I am not looking but on the jaw or my entire arm. I am allergic to animals so I try not to get to close to their fun with my face, but I pet them and love`em plenty with my hands and my cat will get a full body rub down with my foot. Oh and I will hug them.
